As mentioned above, minerals provide our body with the nutrients that it needs to strengthen our teeth and bones, boost our immune system, and increase production of blood cells. Vitamins are great for our eyesight, immune system, bones, skin, and blood cells. Finally, phytonutrients are necessary for disease prevention.
